It’s always fun to try new recipes. Especially those that have been tried and tested! We’ve asked our NuCara employees to share some of their favorite healthy recipes and we will post them here on a regular basis. If you have a favorite recipe you’d like to share, please feel free!

Flatout Pizza – Contributed by Pamela Wong, Pharm.D. – Fairfield NuCara

1 Flatout flat bread
1/3 cup pizza sauce
Meat such as lean ground beef, ground turkey, turkey pepperoni, etc.
Vegetables
1 c. shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
1/4 tsp. Oregano (optional)
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lay Flatout on nonstick cookie sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly over Flatout bread, add toppings.  Bake 15 minutes or until mozzarella melts.
